GMG updates to version 5.2 of ColorProof and 4.7 of ColorServer. 

With version 4.7 of ColorServer GMG takes the step to colormanagement of all types of output devices. At the same time the proofing solutions is updated to support the new Epson 7890, 9890 and 4900 printers. The rip core is also updated to Adobe PrintEngine 2.5.

ColorServer 4.7 and SmartProfiler 1.5 provides a colormanagement solution that can be implemented against any output device. The solution gives one user interface to handle calibration and profiling of all digital printing machines as well as LFP devices. GMG:s concept with devicelink profiles that has proven itself in the proofing market is now awaliable for any printer.

 

The solution allows us to counter some of the common problems we run into in hybrid production. The time we spend maunally correcting the differences between digital and offset can be minimized. We also get the possibility to load balance digital machines since we can make them print alike. It has also never been easier to replicate a companys specific brandcolors with the technology of calibrated spotcolor sets.

 

In the proofing side GMG launches version 5.2 of ColorProof and the new ProofControl inline. This adds support for the new Epson 7890, 7890 and 4900 models. It also integrates the Epson Spectroproofer with automated calibration and quality assurance in the workflow.
